Account Executive

We are hiring an Account Executive…

As an Account Executive you will work with the Sales and Business Development teams to grow our online advertising network. This position is responsible for working with an existing portfolio of advertiser accounts and report directly to the Sales Director. As well, you will be receiving new accounts from our Business Development team where appropriate.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced company where you can make your mark and learn how to navigate the dynamic industry of performance marketing. This position is permanent, full-time, and includes a competitive base salary, commission, as well as a benefits package.

Key Accountabilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Introduce advertisers to the full range of opportunities available through YTZ
  • Work with existing clients to expand relationships
  • Build and maintain an intimate knowledge of industry developments to spot trends and opportunities
  • Build and maintain great relationships with clients (via phone, instant Messaging, and Email)

Client Relations

  • Account data entry and administration - update campaigns with payouts, creatives and contact information being consistently prompt and punctual with fellow team members and clients
  • Represent YTZ in an ethical and truthful manner at all times as the front line contact for the company responsible for handling incoming sales inquires
  • Negotiate advertising campaign terms and rates with clients
  • Ensure that client financial accounts are up to date and accurate
  • Ensure that billing is done accurately and in a timely manner each month
  • Build and maintain solid business relationships with clients
  • Maintain professional and appropriate working relationships with all team members which includes demonstrating respect, enthusiasm and initiative
  • Consistently demonstrate teamwork and reliability and professionalism in the workplace

Education and Experience

  • Experience in sales, particularly business to business
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment driven by meeting and beating targets
  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce or marketing
  • Online marketing, affiliate marketing, or advertising experience an asset

Key Competencies

  • Driven to succeed - meet and beat team and individual targets and goals
  • Ability to warm-call, up-sell and negotiate with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Account Executives spend a great deal of their time communicating with their clients
  • Ability to take direction as well as being a self-starter
  • Exceptional sense of organization and attention to detail
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite and using the Internet as a research tool
Junior Affiliate Manager

We are hiring a Junior Affiliate Manager…

This high-energy sales job requires persistent and persuasive interactions with affiliates, proven sales and relationship building skills, ability to negotiate commitments from clients, and strong communication skills. We are seeking a self-motivated individual, able to be resilient when faced with obstacles.

As a Junior Affiliate Manager, you will be responsible for growing the overall revenue of your portfolio of publishers, including recruiting new and selling to existing publishers, and finding the best solutions to capitalize on their results.

This position is permanent, full-time, and includes a competitive base salary, commission, as well as a benefits package.

Key Accountabilities

  • Sales and Promotion
  • Grow your base of affiliates to meet and exceed the monthly sales targets
  • Introduce affiliates to the offers available on the YTZ network that match their individual business models
  • Work with existing publishers to build trusting relationships and increase the number of offers they are running
  • Work with potentially large non-existing publishers, through recruitment, to convince them to join the network
  • Build and maintain an intimate knowledge of industry developments to spot opportunities
  • Promote and market YTZ as a company representative at conferences and business meetings as required
  • Utilize current promotional programs to engage, excite and grow affiliate’s business

Client Relations

  • Communicate with affiliates by the method and frequency that each affiliate prefers in order to identify what they need to drive more volume through our network.
  • Be consistently prompt and punctual with clients and fellow team members
  • Represent YTZ in an ethical and truthful manner at all times
  • Build and maintain solid business relationships with affiliates

Team

  • Maintain professional and appropriate working relationships with all team members. This includes demonstrating respect, enthusiasm and initiative
  • Provide support, training and coaching to other team members where appropriate
  • Demonstrate teamwork, reliability and professionalism in the workplace
  • Continue training and development as an Affiliate Manager

Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years of sales experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented entrepreneurial environment
  • Post-secondary education; degree in business, commerce or marketing an asset
  • Online marketing or advertising experience an asset
